That's right! You said you would be working on a Kaylee jacket! I was so caught up in the brown coat that I totally forgot the little remark.
Do you have any idea how much one of those is going to caust? It's a great little jacket. Cute cut, beautiful color and all.
If I can't afford a Browncoat, maybe I can console myself with a Kaylee jacket. Still holding out hope for the coat though.

Okay, I want to put this in context: I ordered a browncoat from Tristan ready for Serenity3 a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately due to the evil US Postal Service imposing new arbitary rules (no fault of Tristan's) it didn't turn up in time.
Even allowing for that, it is still possibly the most loveliest thing ever. It fits wonderfully, the weight and feel of it is a beauty to behold and I'm just hoping for much colder weather so I can wear in far more often.
In conclusion, if you want one and you have the money, buy buy buy. They're things of beauty and should be treasured.

Kayna, I'm not sure yet. I'll have to find the cloth and see what that will cost. I'll be busy this weekend, but I should have plenty of time after that to work on all these projects. I'll build one, and figure out from that what they will cost.

Zoe's coat - I can actually justify as the new overcoat that I need.
I'll save up and not buy any of the not-even-close things that I've been eying around here. So that probably means, first Zoe's, then Mal's.

Sorry to hear that the leather shredded on you (naughty leather to do that). Is the tear repairable or 'disguiseable'? (Can you put a patch there and claim that it was in battle and repaired or somesuch?)
(Considering how many times I'd have to tear a seam out to sew on cloth...
ugh!)
Hopefully, taking a break from it will provide inspirtation....(Yay! Zoe 'coat!)
