Has anyone ever been there? I was passing through Seattle earlier this week but was unable to go because they're closed on Tuesdays, gorramit! The website www.sfhomeworld.org is quite good-looking. Ya know, like me.

I've been there and it's worth a stop if you find yourself near downtown Seattle; it's easy to find at the base of the Space Needle and you can't miss the distinctive (Frank Gehry) building! It adjoins Experience Music Project and both are there courtesy of Paul Allen's interests; he was one of the founders of Microsoft and has been able to collect lots of very cool stuff (think: "Danger Will Robinson"), then build a really nice home for it all so he can share it!
I was there just over a year ago and, alas, I didn't see any BDS/BDM stuff then. In one area, they have a very cool, very large video display that features ships from lots of series and movies so I left a note asking that they add Serenity, but don't know if it has been added...yet (she said, optimistically!).

Ah, yet another place to add to the list of 'states I should visit because...'
*sigh* One day I shall have the coin for such trips. I shall I shall!
