Well, Magda...you could always move to the States...and wear platform shoes, maybe?
Thank you for the compliment!

Figured I might as well bump this. The coat is still available. tristan71@cableone.net

I've been a bit busy lately with domestic issues, but starting next week, I'll be 'back in the saddle'. I'm currently playing with a Zoe vest pattern, and the Kaylee jacket is next...I'm having a time finding the right cloth for that, though...if anyone has any idea, let me know! I have also decided to try my hand at the Independent soldier coat, which also falls in line with Zoe's long coat (from the Trainjob episode, but seen in others).

I'm also entertaining the idea of taking commissions on other clothing from the 'Verse. Drop me a line if you have something in mind!

Sweet looking coat man... and way to show that independant spirit. I just bought a Blue Sun shirt from bluesunshirts.com to show my support even though they're being shut down next week. Too bad I don't have the $300 clams to buy one of these beauties.

That's the problem with us independants.... most of us are jus workin for food. I'll have to hit you up when I got the dough.

Good luck to you... may you find that happy place between a lucrative hobby that you can enjoy for many years to come and becomming so big that you're another helpless deer caught in the headlights of the "Network Who Shall Not Be Named"

Thank you all for the bumps and comments!

6ixStringJack, I understand about the survival part...that's why I decided to offer my coats for sale. The other leather ones on the market are a lot more expensive...but like $200 at least. I thought by offering a decent, less-expensive alternative, I could make some Browncoats happy.

I do plan on offering other items of Firefly clothing in the near future, but I'd like to stay far enough under the radar that they won't find me...I would really rather 'advertise' by word of mouth than by setting up a site. That would keep order numbers reasonable, and give me more time to develop more stuff!

Thank you for you encouragement!

I did post about this on the female browncoat page but it bears repeating.

I'm an actual customer of Tristan and his browncoat is just so pretty. And well made. And comfortable. And... well, quality just drips from it. It's a wonderful coat and the build quality means if you treat it right, it'll last you for years. It's like a Firefly in that respect.
