Yeah, it sucks. I'm hoping it was a fluke and that it's all in my head. I'll have to have something again some time soon just to make sure, I guess.
lol, I hadn't even thought of baby sitting, which is funny as that's usually the role I fall into (even if i'm drinking).
Thanks for the assurances of good times, guys. I do look forward to it, for sure...fun times.

I recommend taking the med with a full meal a couple of hours before the drink, and taking the drink slow. If you still feel ill, we'll bring in plenty of non alcohol stuff and play lots of silly games. You won't be left out.

Meh: sobriety is nothing to be ashamed of. Especially in light of the fact of a few hypothetical things I may have said and done, on a rare occassion or two, while perhaps a wee tipsy.

been a little indiscreet Cozen?
i'd never believe it.
Yup LMD, i have to admit all the talk of drink was making me a little nervous - apart from some rum on pirate day, and maybe a few goes at inventing some wacky cocktails, i was hoping to stick to soft drinks and hope no one noticed.
but I feel a little better.
you know what you can do though - get offf your t**s on sugar - lots of sweeties, you'll be gibbering like a fool with the best of the drunks, and if you time it right, you crash while you're sleeping.
though if we don't expect sleep to be a feature of the weekend, then maybe that isn't such a good idea.
ah well, i guess spin the bottle can be played just as well with a glass coke bottle...
no, kidding, no spin the bottle, that way leis madness and morning afters.
unless of course, by some strange hiccup of fortune, Adam Alan and Summer turn up to one of the parties.
then all i could say is 'bring it on!'

Well, I know I would sort of like to recall what actually took place at D*C, so I definitely don't plan on any heavy drinking. A little bit of the new (ok, i don't know how new it is) Parrot Bay for pirate day (cause parrots are pirate-y) if you haven't had it, its super yummy.

I haven't tried the Parrot bay drinks yet. I'll have to check those out.
Drinking will be available, it is not encouraged or discouraged. Drink when or if you like. If you only want to drink Coke, you'll be fine, if you only want a touch of coke with your rum, that's fine too.

Yeah, I like the parrot bay (despite the fact that i don't like coconut, lol). I've still never been able to drink enough to forget anything, though. I think it takes quite a bit to actually get me off kilter, problem being that my stomach usually gives up before the rest of me does.
Well, we can certainly find other interesting things to drink or eat ;D I'm hoping no one will be disappointed...I think some may be under the impression that I'm a drinker in the league of coz or jade, which I most certainly am not (well, i can be when my stomach cooperates).
Oh, and Seryn, forgot to ask: will you complete my Triumverate of Awesomeness?

The flavor I had didn't have any coconut (it was mango something, raspberry I think) I can't stand coconut either. It sort of reminded me of hard lemonade but a less sour taste.

Oh I thought we were talking about the new Parrot Bay drinks, like the flavoured stuff. Like the Bacardi black and O3 and stuff that I've been seeing ads for.
And don't go putting me in a drinking league.
Just because I can drink a good bit without getting terribly drunk, and I mostly get silly now. 'Sides I plan to add lots of water to my intake to avoid the dehydration. which leads to headaches.

LMD: that's right! We're going to be one short of your Triumverate of Awesomeness.
Seryn: You must agree! You're a redhead and you're awesome so you fit perfectly! Please be awesome with us. There will be Charlie's Angelesque pictures.
