Hopefully, byt he time you have a working pattern for the women's coat I'll have some cash and can buy one.
I'm glad this seems to be working out for you. Become a wealthy maker of Browncoats and other costumy things (as you are obviously so talentede at it) and help finance a BDS 
And I have to say it out loud. That coat is so awesome!! You rock for making these available to the rest of us costume impaired 'coats.

I'm hoping that the modifications won't be all that difficult and will still retain the look of the Browncoat...we shall see!
I appreciate your comment. I'm happy to have been able to create something that other Browncoats think looks good. I hope to continue doing so for a long time, and expanding the costume pieces I am able to offer.

Hmmm, that is an incredibly nice coat! I like the all-leather idea too! Am waiting to see how the women's version turns out (I like my curves, too...) and I finish dropping some weight and then....my very own brown coat...!!!
