I agree that the Reavers would have ignored him because he was dead. However, I think they would have eaten him after taking care of the rest. But they'd probably be far more interested in the live prey.

I hate to say this Gouda, but that was the blooper reel he said that in, and wasn't meant to appear in the final version. I have a REALLY hard time believing even Mal would do something like that to Book! Just thought I'd let a fellow Browncoat in on the secret.
