I've seen so much great work here and elsewhere on the Net with fan-created stuff that I was inspired to do my own.

I was inspired by another FF video using the same music but with clips from the BDM. I loved the vid, but thought the clips were a bit too spoilery so I decided to do my own version using clips from the series instead.

I couldn't get it to work. Any way you can make it quicktime compatible? Or maybe upload it to Youtube? I do want to see it.

Ironically enough, it was Quicktime at first (I made it on my Mac) and I got complaints.

Anyway, you can try using VLC ( http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/14738) or MPlayer ( http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/16623)

It's in Divx format, which is very popular. I'll look into putting it on YouTube as well.

Yay! I just saw it. I thought it was very good, combining two of my favorite things, PotC and Firefly. Well, the music from PotC anyway... Gotta love when our BDH's are kicking butt! My only comment is that maybe you should include some of the other characters kicking butt (e.g. River shooting those three guys, or Simon hitting those guys in "Safe") because this was pretty exclusive to Mal, Zoe, and Jayne, given they do do the most butt-kicking. Not a complaint, just a comment, maybe for the next video... Thanks for making it quicktime-compatible, although I just ended up watching it on youtube.

Thanks for the good feedback! This was my first attempt, so I just used some clips I had on my laptop at the time to see if I could put together something interesting.

For my second vid, "Firescape", I pulled clips from my DVDs as well.
