Yep, having to leave the Coat off at the moment... phew....

The other day during my lunch break, I was lying on the grass outside looking at the sky. Directly overhead there was a layer of speckled cloud, beyond it a very deep blue sky. I imagined I was not looking at the sky, but in low orbit, looking down on to some other planetary ocean, the clouds below me...at least until a passing airliner left a trail and ruined the effect.

I work in a deli, darlin'. Big fridges. Actually comfortable for the first time this year. Have to nip over to the Forsaken thread to warm my toes up.

I'm right in the epicentre of the UK heatwave, too.

Nice aircon here too - unfortunately the compressors blew this morning and the guy that's come to fix them is no Kaylee - either in looks or engineering ability :) I'm off to the server room to cools off ....

Choo, where are you? Know what you mean about the custies - don't you just wish they would stay indoors? How many times have you had 'isn't it lovely and cool in here?' - we have a tally board.

Am I okay? I'm melting, I'm melting, oh what a world...

Although being an IT person does allow me to insist on spending quality time in server rooms. Ahhhhh.
