Had a feeling I was translating it wrong since I'm translating romajii. I broke it down to "Ookami" "kawa" "hara" (and assuming that the "oo" was using the kanji for "big"). *heh* I should've known better, especially since when I went to Japan my name was mis-translated (extremely wrong kanji -- one of my friends who grew up in Japan looked at the kanji and thought it was an odd choice for kanji).
*chuckles* I think we're talking sorta the same thing and mis-interpreting at the same time. I grew up watching samurai tv shows (now there's a topic to start wandering off on 
). Tea houses are like private party rooms, so "special sushi" using whomever is entirely likely...I'm racking my brain, and there really isn't anything similar in the west as far as I know. It's definitely not standard fare...oddly the shows/movies that had it were Western movies. *shrug* Go figure.
*hugs Ookamikawahara* Sorry about your ex. As someone whose been on both sides of the situation, it sucks. It sucks even worse when part of the whole mess is based on misunderstandings on what was said. *hugs*

Thanks for the hugs, Yeah we are trying the friends route, so kinda hard, got back somewhat to normal and then its been about 2 weeks since I last heard from her, so I don't if she is just busy w/ summer sale for her work or what? But thanks. Like I said I will be back soon, so I will find someone else. Probably and and probably somewhere in the middle huh. Yeah I usually use Ookami as my Japanese nick name. Exactly Chanbara (the samurai dramas/ movies)
Yeah I do Kendo and Iaido / Japanese fencing.
So I'm very big into the Samurai movies and t.v. dramas.

Kendo and iaido? *ponders* You sound like one of my ex's...He studied kendo, fencing (foils and epees), and iaido. On top of that he went to Harvey Mudd (one of the top geek schools in California), got his degree in Chemistry, and last I heard he had gotten his Masters and was still planning on getting his Ph.D. in it.
Just out of curiosity, what's your favorite samurai drama? Mine is "Abarenbo Shogun." (They're replaying the original series and wow, what a difference. Matsudaira Ken was skinny in the late '70's and really filled out by the time it ended in the '90's. The original ninja in the series was: a)cute, and b)the same guy who played the hero on Kamen Rider V3 -- a Japanese kid's show. *fans self*

Out of the few Samurai dramas and stuff I have seen, like most of the Lone Wolf movies.
Have myself The Sword of Vengeance one. Other favorites are Ran and 7 Samurai. Rasshamon was good to!!!! Also really like a movie called Heaven and Earth altough that one I only saw the last hour and half of I think. Yeah I know who you mean, my Ex also liked that guy from the Kamen rider series. True except my senmon was Nichibei kankei ie U.S. Japanese relations ---- Diplomatic route type major. I will have to say I like Mifune, he has really good acting roles.

Not angry Llamas again, quick call out the Monty Python boys to deal with them. Ookami stops in the middle of his sushi meal and lunges at them with his katana drawn as FMF scoots on past. I think we need some roasted llama snacks comen up boys and girls.
