Yes, Phoenix is hot this time of year...actually, it's hot any time of the year! I lived there for a spell before moving to a more humid climate. If you don't mind me asking, whereabouts in Phoenix are you? I attended Arcadia, and actually lived next to the fence surrounding the school.

Well, it's not so bad in January...
I live in the West Vally, near 83rd & Indian School. Right next to Glendale.

Thanks! I miss Phoenix...last time I was out there was '92. I can imagine that it has grown quite a bit since then!

Man, back in '92 I was in first grade. I remember that the city seemed a lot smaller than it does now.
Other than the heat and the bus system, Phoenix is...shiny.

When I left in '87, Phoenix did not take up as much room as it does now. Chandler and Fountain Hills were separate entities. We joked that pretty soon, Arizona would just need to be re-named "Phoenix"!

Yeah, I'm waiting for Flagstaff to become a suburb of Phoenix. I have a terrible vision of the desert being consumed in entirety by 'civilization.'
