Hey everyone!
I've read these forums for a while now and figured I should sign up! I'm 18 and live in Ohio. I own both Serenity and Firefly and LOVE them both! (I get cranky if I can't watch them for a few days ) I was introduced to Serenity by a friend and bought the series soon after.

Anyway, I'm extra excited about the series/show because Summer just sent me an autographed picture!
I had written her a letter a few months ago complimenting her on her work. She responded by sending me a letter that thanked me for the compliments and saying that she "can't wait to see what the serenifly fans will come up with next."

She also included a picture of her signed, "For Adam, Serenity Always, Love Summer Glau". It is now hanging on my wall in a pretty frame

For Serenity Day, I bought a copy of the DVD and a copy of the series. I ended up sending them both to soldiers in Iraq.

As for Serenity Summer, I'd be glad to help out. Whether it be handing out fliers or wearing my Serenity shirt and running around the streets of Columbus screaming like a loon, I'm up for it.

Haha, in my experience (which is limited) I've noticed that pretty much all Browncoats are a little crazy.

Hmmmmm...I hadn't really noticed.

Welcome, slicktOmmy! Normally I offer a bit of Irish Whiskey, but I'm embarassed to say, I can't remember the legal drinking age in Ohio (its been awhile since I had to pay attention to such things) and not wanting to get anyone in hot water, so how 'bout some Breyer's strawberry ice cream instead?
