Aug 18th now, is it ? Dunno if I can make it to Anniston from ATL on a Fri afternoon( which is when I'd have to leave ) Any of y'all planing to make the trip to DragonCon? I'm new to the board and relatively new to the 'Verse (a Browncoat since, er, about June-time).

We're down in Fort Rucker.

I'm not sure about making it to this event (it's the first day that I'll be back in school - finally finishing off my BA), but I'll sure try.

How family friendly might this event be?

Greetings, Proxieme, and welcome to the 'Verse!
Actually, this mini-event has been cancelled...my wife's birthday is the 15th, and we are going out of town that weekend. We do have plans for another one after DragonCon, so we will let everyone know.
As far as family-friendly (for future reference), our plans are to meet at a local restaurant, eat, and then go somewhere else...not sure where, as there is not a lot to do here.
