yeah the heat here has only been in the mid 90's but it gets so damn humid the heat index gets up into the 100-115 range. i can go on a short ride and lose way to much hydration. very dangerous

well i have been absent. i had a lighter week in preperations for road bike racing over the weekend. raced saturday in the IL State Championships CAT 4 and placed 21 out 100 something(not sure on the final count) i cramped at the end and couldn't make any progress in the sprint. due to the cramp my leg was sore so i didn't bother with the Criterium race sunday and just did a 40 mile local ride. should pick up the miles this week again though.

To answer your question, life just dump a big steaming pile on my plate. A consequence of that is that I don't know for how much longer I'll be able to afford an internet connection. Things are starting to even out now though (*knocks on wood*).

So, I'll probably be able to start working out again soon. Though I may disappear for an indeterminate amount of time at some point. *sigh*

Btw, where's this weeks thread?

EDIT: Did the 4th give you a bad hang-over?
