Need help with viewing ep "The Message"

I got this ep through BitTorrent as a .mpg file but it doesn't want to run under Windows Media player or DivX.

WM player says it needs a codec (doesn't specify which one) and DivX says its not a valid mpeg-4 file.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

The mpg file is in SVCD format - I use PowerDVD to view it - and you can change the dimensions of the video screen to make the viewing proportions correct.

Here is the codex needed to view Mpeg2/SVCD with Windows Media Player:
http://dshow.narod.ru/video/mpeg2codec_installer.zip or
http://download.divxmovies.com/mpeg2codec_installer.zip
Unzip and install the codex and you should be able to view Mpeg2/SVCD files with media player

Hey thanks, I've been able to watch both "The Message" and "Heart of Gold" with this info.

Now I am saddened that these are the last "new" episodes I will ever watch of Firefly.
