Anyone know how to convert real media to mpg?

Hi

I just got the remaining 2 eps off that cool site but they're in real media (*.rm) format and I'd like to watch them on my DVD player.

Does anyone know how to convert them to avi or mpg in order to create the VCD? Neither VirtualDub nor TMPGen recognizes the files.

You can try EOVideo - http://www.eo-video.com/ (free 30 day trial version). I use it to convert QuickTime MOV's to MPEG all the time. It will convert .RM files to MPEG but it is extremely slow and tends to crap out on large .RM files. You might be better off d/l the smaller .AVI files from http://www.loony-archivist.com/firefly/heart.htm and http://www.loony-archivist.com/firefly/message.htm then using TMPGen to convert them to VCD.
