I bought one at Walmart when it first came out. I was just thrilled that they had it. Then, I discovered it was a full screen version (I wanted wide screen). So, I bought another and gave the first to a friend. I have since misplaced my widescreen version. I have both the BDM and BDS on VHS. I plan to order both from Amazon on DVD on 6/23

I'm plannin' on buying one, which I'll probably either donate to the local library, or give as a gift to my former roommate to try to get her to watch it. Between her sister and I, we'll wear her down yet!

I'm buying at least 5 Serenity movies along with accompanying BDS (Big Damn Series) for various amigos who I know will love them, but aren't into the 'Verse yet.

Plus, I'm buying the whole ep series for a friend via iTunes.

Hope this all helps, but I enjoy spreading the word in any case.

I'll have little cash on my person after the purchase of my pinball machine to be converted, but I still plan to buy at least one disk and give it to someone I feel is a potential convert. He likes Cowboy Bebop, and while I've never seen that cartoon, many here have said Firefly and it are similar. I've already found a friend who is an expert (comparitively) on pinball repair and LOVES Firefly! I've told him to visit this site, so he might do the same as me.

I plan on buying a copy of the BDS and the BDM. I'll either keep them as spares or give them to my cousin for his b-day. Hmmmm decisions decisions.

Already bought both the BDM and BDS and on it's way to Iraq. It's going in care of a Browncoat Navy Corpsman that put out a call for some SciFi for a little library he's establishing for some Marines. Hopefully it'll make a few converts.

I'll see if I have enough $ left to replace my lend out copy of the BDM on the 23rd. It went out and hasn't been returned-hope it's doing some good circulating. I just get too nervous not having a 2nd copy to stay in the house when I lend it out. If my lend out copy returns the new one will go to the library.
