I won't be stoned. It's been sort of spread out. I almost wish it were a migraine because then I could steal my roommate's Imitrex and make it go away! And be stoned for 10 hours!
So what exactly does your 3rd shift job entail? When I worked 3rd shift I did stocking/moving crap at Shopko.

Meh, it's an answering service. Someone has to be there all the time. Mostly it's doctor's offices and infomercial stuff calling at night, but there are also some apartments and stuff. I get to deal with people having emergencies and freaking out. Good times.
The good part, of course, is that it's generally pretty quiet. I get to read or watch tv or get on here a good portion of the time. I have to do my expected work; sometimes I have to do a little data entry and I have to back up our messages to disks at midnight and I have to answer the phones if they ring, but other than that my time is my own.
They don't pay me enough, though. I've been trying to look for another job, but that is very hard when you're not up at normal hours.

It's hard to do a lot of things when you're not up normal hours. My 3rd shift was a summer job, which wasn't too bad, but it overlapped with the first week of school AND my hours at my university job.
That sucked a lot.
Ooooh, I think my lame roommate is home now.

Yeeks! That would suck! I wouldn't want to try doing anything else with this job. My mom thinks I should take classes in the mornings. Bleh.

I have two roommates!!! One is fabulously awesome and crazy (and didn't hate me forever after I accidentally hit her in the face with a bottle of tequila)!!! And the other is just . . . blah. I think I'd like her more if I never lived with her. It's just a very odd scenario.

I'm going to be doing fun thing! I'm going to a private Browncoats only showing of Serenity at Leicester Square cinema followed by a picnic in Regent's park (next to London Zoo which I'll go to after to say hi to all the snakeys) to meet some fun shiny Firefly fans, including Leiana my wonderful roomie for this summer's convention!
I'm so excited about meeting people in the flesh! I'm gonna wear my new browncoat even if it is hotter than hell!
