*Comes into thread with mop and bucket (virtual!) and handily cleans up all messes left from spew ( eeep!!) and strawberries and spilled coffee and whiskey ( now that's the combo I like!)*

Welcome home, IllyriaWashburne! You're gonna love it here, as you can see by your warm welcome, our ships the nicest!

As you've been told, I'm the hander- outer of the browncoats ( I'm not sure that's proper English, but when were we EVER proper around here?) and I have yours...

* with a flourish and fanfare ( shhhh! you'll wake the Cap'n!) FM hands IllyriaWashburne her own browncoat.. and it fits just exactly right as advertised.*

Only the best for our recruits!

Talk often and make yourself to home we have a great crew here and we love to talk about out favorite subject and anything else we think of.

We have events planned for the Summer of Serenity that you might want to take part in...check out the Browncoat Event Forum on the right of the main page. Lots of stuff going on! We're working and holdin' 'til our shiny crew get back!

* Grabs a cup of Jossisagod's coffee...mmmm, very good!*

I have to get my storeroom squared away, lot's of folks need 'coats, hope to see you around the board.

Hey FollowMal, you're late!

And how come you never gave me my own Browncoat when I arrived, and I had to take one that doesn't quite fit right off of the dead guy over in the corner?

Ummm... I swear I found him that way. HONEST! Bullet holes and all.
(BTW, you should probably clean that up too).

*Comes BACK into thread... ( I love this you know!) sees PaganPaul standing there, wearing that bullet riddled browncoat*

That'll never do, PaganPaul, and I'm so sorry to have missed you.. I'm a busy gal.

*hands PaganPaul a new browncoat, fitted just for him*

There you are, try this one on for size and hand me that one, DonCoat fixes these up for all of us and this one deserves to be made good as new.

Hey, you look great in that. Welcome to our shiny ship. Now let me just look at our roster of chores.... hmmm, yep, says you have clean up duty * hands PaganPaul the mop and such* and we all gotta do our clean up duty. Cap'n likes this ship shiny!

I'll be back soon enough and see how you're doin' on that.

* Hands in pockets, FM whistles her way out of this thread into another one, always looking for someone who needs 'coated*

Hi IW! I too am a new Browncoat - thanks to Followmal I have mine on now and boy! Am I glad to have it - it's winter down here in Melbourne!! I thought I had some strawberries, but I think someone ate them... I don't mind though and Jossisagod's coffee is the best!!

Don't you love this galley? It's so cozy and friendly in here and everyone is a comrade with love, friendship and the occassional llama's to share! (I just had llama's explained to me... so I'm knowlegable about these things now!)

Welcome - and glad you've stopped ...well, you know! Magdalene x x x

usually i just spew all my firefly/serenity goodness on to my friends... most of whom have never seen either, but who i've convinced to do so. but now i have a forum to spew in! wow... talk about an over use of the word spew.

What I want to know is.. who is going to clean up all this SPEW?

Here's a dixie cup.

There's a quote for all you movie buffs.

*RadarRese walks into an empty thread, puts down the heavy duffle bag, and checks the logbook. Grabs a cup of steaming coffee, then sits at her desk and begins making notes.

FollowMal -- stopped at Badger's and bought a couple of those cunning apple peelers and a bushel of green apples

Illyriawashburne (Illy for short, I'll get a cramp if I have to write that one more than once!) Welcome to our wacky ship, love!

PaganPaul -- where did you put the broom and dustpan? Oh, and you're on spackle duty; fix those bullet holes. Don't care who did 'em!

Magdalen -- thanks ever so for the strawberries! Next to mangos, my absolute favorite!

FloralBunny -- was cleaning Ships-Cat litter box earlier (something is using it; don't rightly care what or who, just as long as it does) Those damn llamas are becoming annoying; cleaned three piles of llamadoodle on the way back! Don't forget to fill the cats bowl.

*as she gets up to refill her coffee cup, she notices something on the floor, walks over to get a closer look. "Spew!" Walks back into the store room for the other broom and dustpan, cleans up spew and as she settles back down to her paperwork, she smiles fondly as she remembers the day that she received her very own Browncoat. Yep, I would have spewed, too, in all of the excitement, but one does not spew on the Captain -- drool, perhaps, never spew.

It's so good to be home!
