He also said he didn't really get it, though it was just "okay."

Sadly, I lack TV-to-computer capture technology. I do however know that such exists, so I'm putting out the call to any browncoats who may have caught it.

Aside from Serenity's win, the awards were kinda flat this year: lot of Sin City and Revenge of the Sith love. If I didn't know better, I'd be afraid Space was getting mainstream on us.

Most of the attraction for me is in the intermezzo skits.

Jonathan Llyr wandering the BSG set & pestering the actors for S3 hints, then getting scooped by his co-host.

Vader & a couple of Stormtroopers wandering downtown Toronto, parodying the "NOOOOOOO!!!" moment.

Richard Dean Anderson's multi-part skit with "his" Spacey ("Who's 'Ben Browder?'"). He did something similar last year, and I'm hoping it becomes a regular thing; guy's hilarious. Then he wanders off, failing to actually present the award, just kinda leaving it there for Browder to pick up as he wandered past (looking for Rick).

David (Dr. McKay) Hewlett "in character" for his presentation, getting punched out by Rachel (Tayla) Luttrell, and doing two pratfalls.

Katee (Starbuck) Sackhoff's comment about all the other BSG cast who were off playing golf while the handful of them who were there were doing actual work.

Jonathan interviewing Gina about why Firefly was (and is) such a phenomenon.

The new "Space salutes" add, with the talent agent who specializes in has-been SF characters (the Alien xenomorph, the original Cylon Centurion, Boba Fett, Robocop, etc). ("You don't sign the contract, you won't get paid." *Xenomorph snarls* "Don't hiss at me." *xenomorph looks repentant*)

Andy Serkis trying to pass himself off as Christian Bale (who was filming, and "couldn't be bothered" [Serkis' words] to come pick up the award).

Christopher Judge trying to pass himself off as Shaft. (Again, a running gag; coupla' years ago he was Lawrence Fishburne. )

Katee Sackhoff and Grace (Boomer) Park being wildly unprofessional and cracking each other up in the blooper reel. Grace's utter inability to remember her lines from laughing so hard. ("This is what happens when we don't get paid.")
