XMEN 3 and Ghost Rider

I like Halle Berry because she's smokin' hot. I'm full aware she's not the best actress. But damn, she's hot. Hot, hot, hot. Hey, at least I don't like Paris Hilton.
I haven't seen the new X-Men yet. I only just saw The DaVinci Code last night, which was frikkin' great. I loved the first two X-Men. I saw the first one 5 times in the theater.
I've seen the trailer for Ghost Rider and it looks pretty sweet. I don't know much about the character. I still have a couple GR comics from when I was younger. Not much of a Nick Cage fan, though. Loved Con-Air but that's it.
Also looking forward to Superman Returns (damn, that trailer gave me chills!) and Spider-Man 3. I'm hoping for Venom and maybe Carnage to be in it (crosses fingers). But I know Sam Raimi's a douche that only likes the lame villains or making the villains look really lame. Take Doctor Octopus for example - he had frikkin' man-boobs! And Green Goblin looked like a villain from Power Rangers or some lame Saturday morning show for slow kids.
But it seems like since Batman Begins came out I'm comparing everything to that.

So, as a Ratner basher who liked, but didn't love the movie, I think he did the best he could have under tough conditions.

As for X3: I've already posted about this here: http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=8&t=20999, but I did want to speculate on what on what you said in your post.
Is this all Ratner had to work with? A script written in seven days? This is the type of tripe they're pushing in Hollywood now? God, we could have wound up in Captain America or Flash Gordon territory (we all remeber how crappy those were, right?). We should all thank our lucky stars it turned out as well as it did. Life could be much worse.
