I read the denials by Rove's lawyer and spokesman (he wasn't fired by Bush, his assignment was changed form policy to political so he still needs a spokesman) and they are stout denials. No ifs ands or buts, the denials are point blank and straightforward. Generally if there is some truth to a story a pr flack is denying, the flack will do lots of qualifying and won't flat out deny anything. In this case I would say it looks like Leopold was misled by his sources, but I hope I'm wrong. I would love to see piggy Rove sent to prison. And Bush is a human, technically at least, but he is neither fine nor patriotic. Real patriots respect the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the separation of powers between the branches of the federal government. Of course Bush and his supporters wouldn't be able to understand what I just wrote. Too many fancy words you see.

Bush might read FireFlyFans, since his daddy owns Serenity. Now he can read CBS News on this story.

Quote:

Web Report Of Rove Troubles Raises Rash Of Speculation

Has Karl Rove been indicted? That was the big rumor sweeping the Web over the weekend, courtesy of a report on the liberal Web site Truthout.org. On Saturday, Jason Leopold reported on the site that President Bush’s political architect had been informed of a pending indictment.

Had either of these stories appeared on the front page of The New York Times, or in Newsweek magazine, we would be in the throes of a media feeding frenzy. The Sunday Show slates would have been hurriedly rearranged to capitalize on this new “bombshell” and America would have woken up this morning to watch Rove make the quick walk-and-duck from his front door to his waiting car. But so far, Leopold’s story stands alone.

It’s not to say the report wasn’t noticed. At the conservative National Review, Byron York noted that the story was being checked out by other reporters who had not been able to substantiate it.

York also reported that Rove’s spokesperson was denying the story. At CBS News, e-mails were sent out by correspondents reporting absolute denials of the story by named principles. And questions about Leopold’s past circulated on the Web.

Adding to the intrigue are comments suggesting he will reveal the names of his sources if the story does not turn out to be accurate.

It’s something that has the blogosphere buzzing, but has yet to be verified independently.

Presumably, we’ll know soon whether there is anything to this story. The fact nobody in the MSM has been able to verify it suggests the story is not accurate in some respects.

This is a curious story in so many ways. If it is true, why would Rove’s spokesperson issue such a strong denial?

It would appear pretty silly to deny one day what is going to happen the next. Would Leopold really reveal the names of his sources should the story turn out incorrect? What is really the difference between the use of anonymous sources in this instance and the many un-named sources we see in the MSM? And just consider the possibility that Leopold’s story could turn out to be accurate. What would that mean to the world of journalism?

No matter how you dice it, Turdblossum is in BIG trouble. NOBODY testifies to a grand jury five times without a signed contract with immunity from prosecution. Ask Hero. If the Media Mafia were so competent, why don't they spell Rove's name correctly? His grandfather was Governor Roverer, a member of the Nazi Party in Nazi Germany during World War 2.

Quote:

George W. Bush’s grandfather helped finance the Nazi Party. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Austrian father volunteered for the infamous Nazi SA and became a ranking officer. And Karl Rove can’t hide his joy at witnessing “a Nazi rally” in support of Bush. According to Wilson*, and to Retired U.S. Navy Lt. Commander Al Martin ( www.almartinraw.com), Rove's grandfather was Karl Heinz Roverer, the Gauleiter of Oldenburg. Roverer was Reich-Statthalter---Nazi State Party Chairman---for his region. He was also a partner and senior engineer in the Roverer Süd-Deutsche Ingenieurburo A. G. engineering firm, which built the Birkenau death camp, at which tens of thousands of Jews, Gypsies, dissidents and other were slaughtered en masse.

It's possible that part of Leopold's story is accurate, but not all of it. For example, it's possible that the prosecutor has threatened Rove with an indictment if Rove doesn't turn on his bosses, and that the negotiations are still ongoing. Of course that is only speculation on my part, but it would explain why Rove's flack is denying everything while some sources are speaking of an imminent indictment. This would be a disaster for the msm. being scooped on a story of this scale by an internet reporter would be extremely embarrassing for them and would bring their credibility into question.

Maybe Hero can comment on this, but Leopold did write the indictment would be "sealed", which presumably means it's not a public record. So does that mean Rove is officially indicted, but since it's "sealed", he can lie and deny it all he wants and get away with it, since no reporter is allowed to verify it?

Rover/Roverer and the White House staff are NEVER under oath when talking to the public or the press.

When "Rush" Limbaugh was INDICTED, ARRESTED, PLED GUILTY AND WAS CONVICTED, the Media Mafia pretended there was no arrest and never said the word conviction, and never attempted to videotape his perp walk. Limbaugh is now a convicted felon, sentenced to the Loony Bin, but was he fired from his $270-million job of brainwashing the sheeple? Nope.

Bush and Cheney were both convicted of drunk driving, and Bush was convicted of cocaine possession, and was arrested for theft and vandalism, and sued for rape, and demoted from pilot to mail clerk for refusing a drug test. And Lips Bush wore a dress and a ladies wig in an all-male prep school as a male cheerleader, as proven by his drag-queen photo in Andover's yearbook. But did the Media Mafia report these public records during Selection 2000? Nope.

So can we trust the Media Mafia to report the truth of Rove/Roverer's indictment? Not bloody likely.

I doubt the Media Mafia cares if a mere blogger scoops them, since they just plagerize the heck out of it and take all the credit. Bloggers have been leading the MM pack for several years now. MM don't care about customer sales or ad revenues, since now they just steal billions of taxdollars from CAFR pension funds (bribes).

Well, from the way the Leopold story is written we should all know what's going on in the next few days. If there is anything to the Rove indictment it should hit the media by the end of this week. My guess is that if Piggy is indicted he will be indicted on lesser counts due to his multiple appearances before the grand jury. I assume that he's been cooperating with the prosecutor to a certain extent in exchange for copping to less serious crimes.

The week ended with nothing new on Rove. That doesn't mean he's in the clear, but it does mean Leopold was wrong about the timing of the indictment, if there is an indictment. It's time to do what he said and give up the source that fed him bad info.

Is traitor Karl Rove's attorney lying? Are his lips moving? Since when is a criminal lawyer a credible source? Especially when lawyers are never sworn under oath to tell the truth...

Quote:

Fitzgerald Investigation of traitorous Jr Bush White House

To clarify: The entire basis for the information that "Rove has been cleared" comes from a verbal statement by Karl Rove's attorney. No one else confirms that. As Karl Rove's attorney Robert Luskin is bound to act - in all regards - in Rove's best interest. We question his motives.
http://forum.truthout.org/blog/story/2006/6/13/104836/605

Just a general review of Jason Leopold's latest article on the Fitzgerald investigation/Rove indictment - for clarity.

Once again we will attempt to clearly separate what we know from what we believe - and why. What we know will be based on official records and official statements. What we believe will be based on single source information and general background information obtained from experts. The conclusions we arrive at should be considered carefully, but not taken as statements of fact, per se.
www.truthout.org/docs_2006/061206Z.shtml

We know for certain several things about federal indictment "06 cr 128" (Sealed vs. Sealed). The indictment was returned by the same grand jury that has been hearing matters related to the Fitzgerald/Plame investigation. The indictment was filed in the time frame (around May the 10th) that the indictment of Karl Rove was first reported. The title of the indictment, Sealed vs. Sealed, is unusual. Typically a sealed federal indictment will be titled, "US vs. Sealed." The indictment has been sealed for roughly five weeks, an unusually long time (although not unheard-of). We know that experts watching the Fitzgerald/Plame investigation are keeping a very close eye on "06 cr 128" (Sealed vs. Sealed). We know that we attempted to contact Karl Rove's attorney, Robert Luskin, on two occasions while researching this issue and both calls went unreturned.

Now for what we believe: We believe that federal criminal indictment "06 cr 128" (Sealed vs. Sealed) is directly related to the Fitzgerald/Plame investigation. That's based on a single credible source and the information discussed above. We believe that Karl Rove is cooperating with federal investigators, and for that reason Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald is not willing to comment on his status. That is based, again, on a single credible source, and background information provided by experts in federal criminal law. We believe that the indictment was returned and filed "on May 10 2006." Same single credible source, and details from the filing records. We believe that if any of the key facts that we have reported were materially false or inaccurate some statement to that effect would be forthcoming from Fitzgerald's staff. That is based on the same single credible source.

99% of the sheeple, including reporters, don't comprehend the fact that a grand jury can return a True Bill to indict, and corrupt prosecutors routinely refuse to file motions with a judge to issue arrest warrants. So Rove could have been secretly indicted by a grand jury "under seal", and the US prosecutors, who are employed at the whim of Jr Bush, could have ignored the grand jury's order.

I personally filed felony criminal charges against govt employees who confessed to 1,000s of felony car thefts, extortion and contract fraud, including Victor "Victoria" Ashe, then mayor of Knoxville Tennessee, now Bush Jr's ambassador to Poland.

Leola McConnell, the Liberal Democratic candidate for Governor of Nevada in 2006, confirmed that Bush and Ashe are gay lovers, since at least their days in Skull & Bones at all-male Yale.

I subpoenaed Ashe to ask him about his two arrests for gay crimes while a Tennessee legislator, but his govt trial lawyers quashed my subpoenas, and I later won that trial pro se. The Tennessee Su
