Ariel Ambulance Rescue Volunteers Needed May 6

10AM scrapyard in Mojave, CA -- purchase and load ambulance
1PM MFAM in Shafter, CA -- unload ambulance for display and restoration
We need volunteers!
Large semi-muscular men and warrior women (at least 6 for each location) to walk the large-but-light-weight ambulance prop onto and off of the flatbed.
Documenters: folks with digital still- and film-cameras.
Bystanders/onlookers/cheering squad
Host families for long-distance Browncoats who want to arrive Friday night--why rent a hotel when one can stay with Browncoats?
We need supplies!
Padding--old blankets, foam pads
Tie-down straps (25')
Short lengths of wood/blocks/wedges to secure the ambulance and support it off the ground at the museum.

Hmmm... 8 1/2 hours drive down and another 8 1/2 home. I'm out of my mind to even be considering this, but it's very tempting to lend a hand.

I will cheer from halfway accross the country! (well, not quite, I guess, but close) Sure wish I had a job that understood what the color of my coat meant to me so I could get out of work and drive 1000 miles to see this amazing thing!
Is it going to tour? Will I ever get to play in it?
