What's the point of having somebody to interview on the show if you're just going to shoot them down as quickly as you can? They think it's good TV and a good chance to make themselves and other Americans look better by (rightfully) being critical of cultist nutcases such as this, but why even give screwballs such as this the chance to express their opinion on TV? I also agree. It did not really seem like entirely fair journalism regardless of what anyone thinks about this woman's opinions. Still, I am not familiar with that show so perhaps that is their format but they seem to kind of embody that old saying that people who want to share their opinions with you almost never want to hear yours.
One thing I will say about this interview and this lady's church is that they certainly have a right to hold whatever opinions they wish (this is America of course, and, I might add, the very same America those soldiers died for) but to express those opinions during a funeral is entirely inappropriate and incredibly insensitive. There are better ways and more reasonable avenues to let your voice be heard but protesting at a funeral is really akin to kicking someone when they are down. The families of these soldiers are already grieving, there is absolutely no need to add to their heartache.
I also could not finish watching that interview. It was very disheartening.

The small church that is doing this is almost entirely made up of one family, from what I have seen in earlier reports on this. Oh, they finally got to that in the "interview".
In regards to the tone and structure of the "interview" bear in mind that this show is news commentary, not journalism. That is the difference between biased opinion and unbiased reporting. I just happen to agree with the opinion in this case, which is rare with that show.
I like the Patriotic Guard Riders that have started showing up in counter protests to drown out the nuts. At one of the funerals around 30 people showed up from her group, over 300 bikers showed up.

Ah. I see. I am not familiar with those types of shows (since I do not watch the news channels that often except for the local 24 hour news channel that is just news and weather and sports). Thanks for the clarification. Shows like that are places where expressing your opinion is perfectly valid and certainly encouraged. Not a funeral.

As for that bitch... seems us Christians have the same problem as every other group in this country: We just can't seem to keep the most ignorant amongst us off of TV.
I haven't posted here in a while, but this crap really bugs the hell outt me. By these people's thinking, if I shot each one of them in face, then I would reserve the right to go around saying how God didn't protect them because they weren't righteouse.
Course, most intelligent people know this. I just hate the idea of this stupid heffer giving impressionable people the wrong... impression of Christianity, or any organized religion for that matter.
