Vin, could you get a "temporary" tat just for fun? For a party or something? Then you wouldn't be stuck with it forever. There's always time later to make a permanent decision.

Yeah, you can use the lingo somewhat sparingly and in appropriate context and people won't think anything too weird. They'll just think you're a little original. I use shiny here and there and no one seems to notice. And gorram sounds a lot like a "cussin' lite" corruption of another word.

It is more fun to say stuff like that around converts though, because it really breaks them up.

Fortunately, the friends we've shown it to are hooked. When they come over, the first thing they say is, "Firefly. Now."
