New fanfic author needs beta

I am newly joined and have posted 1 (un-beta'd) story written for the Friday Challenge sponsered by LJC. (Lost Kin) I am working on several other stories but writing fanfic is totally new to me. (I was only brought in by my incredible frustration at the disappearance of this marvelous show. I am counting the days for the DVD release!)

I was hoping I could find someone willing to do a beta read on a fairly long in progress work which grew out of my posted story to give me some guidance and really ruthless criticism. I am willing to beta for others as well. I hope this gets a response.

(I tend to get too into good stories to be properly ruthless, but I'll try.)

I'll beta. I've never done it before, but I've got pretty good English skills and if I do badly you can tell me and I’ll stop offering my services and go hide my head in a hole.
