Serenity Day, because this day is aimed at Universal. They hold the rights to our 'vers, so we have to appeal to them.

The redirect is a good idea.
Actually it's a good idea to reserve that url anyway. Sometime in the near future we might plan a campaign that puts the spotlight more directly on Firefly, then that web address will be great to have!

I vote for Serenity Day, because we're pushing for a new movie. A new series would be better, imho, but Joss and crew have implied that they're not going back to tv (in the near future), whereas the crew IS signed up for a three-movie deal.
I agree that the fireflyday.com needs to have a redirect to avoid confusion. I went to that site, then tried serenityday.com (before I knew about serenityjune23rd.com) and ended up at a spa.
