Well it's a date movie I guess. Ensemble cast, Timothy Hutton, Matt Dillion, Mira Sorvino, Uma thurman, to mention a few. It's really about Women and Men and how they deal with each other. I am man in a seriousrelationship returns home to his small town for his high school reunion and to take stock of his life. He and his friends give different perspectives on things like love, what people look for in each other, what men think of women, what women think of men and how it all comes together.

you know, I actually think i've seen it, mentioning the people in it jogged a memory.
Did it have Natalie Portman as some kind of Lolita type kid who someone was trying not to like, and at some point they end up (ice?) fishing?
It could be a totally different film, but my housmate had it and I think I remember watching it once.
