I am destraught Anonymous1, i have two problems:
A) Tickets need to be pre brought for the 200 minimum mark and they need to be brought with a credit card which i lack.
C) Forest Hill is a distance which i normally wouldnt complain i spend a couple of hours on public transport just to go to the city for a day but its gonna be late 
and gettin back in one piece may be a problem.
* what a pain but i'll try.
Note yes im aware the is no B) point that is coz it flew away sorry

I haven't read all of the posts in this thread, sorry, I just don't have time!, but have those of you who are organizing the screenings in your area thought about contacting the press?
They tend to be all over Charity screenings, and groups of rabid fan geeks (to the press, that is all we are, but it can be used to our advantage here) would be something they are likely to cover.
It would be a way to get coverage out there either by a short piece on tv or in the newspaper. Free publicity. . . and a way for Universal to take notice.

I would love to see Serenity on the big screen. However, "Equality Now" supports "reproductive rights" (i.e., loves abortion) and will not get my funds from attending this screening. Is this not an issue with anyone else? Who gives a shit about what Whedon's favorite charity is? His role is merely to amuse.
