Hey all, just another OoG curiosity I thought I'd ask for your two credits on:
When Mal is waking up at the end of Out of Gas, Jayne and Inara seem to be talking just outside the infirmary's doors. I'll paraphrase (I only caught it because I had subtitles on):
Inara: I think it's something he should see when he wakes up.
Jayne: He's seen blood before, lots of it.
What do ya'll think they're talking about?

I think she says "I don't think it's something he should see when he wakes up."
They are talking about cleaning up all the blood that Mal dripped all over the ship.

I thought they were talking about Mal waking up to see Wash giving him a direct transfusion.
He notices, and says something about "You've got a thing on your arm."
Do y'all think the lines about scraping up something refer to the cake on the floor?

Yes, there are some cake references, too, about scaping up some to give to either Mal or Wash or Simon.

The subtitles read: "I think it's something he should see..." and for the life of me, that's all I can hear Inara saying in my headphones. Of course, putting: "I don't think" in that sentence would make perfect sense, that's just not what's written, or what I'm hearing.
The scraping up bit is Wash talking to Zoe. He offers to do as such for her and she says "You'd do that for me?" and he replies: "You know I'd do anything for you."

When I looked at the subtitles I thought it was Inara saying, "Its not something he should see when he wakes up."
I thought it was in reference to the blood or maybe Wash giving him blood
"Shake your head boy, your eyes are stuck"
