Hail browncoats... I've only just recently discovered firefly after renting serenity and have never creaed my jeans so many times, but I'm sure you all know the feeling.. I don't know how many aussies read this site but I'll post this anyway... if its already been said I apologise..
So Summer Glau (river) will be in Oz on 21-23 april 2006 at a nerd(in a good way) con called supanova. There will also be a special screening of serenity on the 22nd introduced by Summer. Check it out aussies!

Supanova is proud to present Summer Glau who will be appearing over both Saturday and Sunday from 10.30am onwards. She will conduct a panel/seminar along with autograph sessions situated at the JB Hi-Fi booth daily. Summer will also introduce a special screening of Serenity, 8pm Saturday 22nd April at the Globe Theatre. Tickets at the door or through AbleTix (07 3388 0051).

Summer will be in Brisbane, Queenlsand for SupaNova (check out their website) and they are ever so reasonably priced $30 for the weekend.
Summer is also going to do an introduction of the BDM at the Globe Theatre on the Saturday night. There are a stack of BC'ers meeting up for a dinner gathering then enmasse to the cinema. Check out the Serenity Oz site and visit the Community Threads.
It is soooooo very wonderful we will have two BDH's down under, Summer in April and Jewel in May. How grandly shiny is that!!!!!!!

That is truly great news and as a fellow Aussie it's great to hear that the cast are still "conventioning" - especially in OZ. I'm hoping she will be back here in October for the SupaNOVA - Sydney Convention as well!
