Firefly came to mind today when...
When I though about how great all my Browncoat friends are. You guys are a special bunch.

hey you guys :o)
just wanted to say: what a great site you all created and keep alive and interesting! fireflyfans became a site i check out every day :o)
i didn't think that could even happen, but firefly comes even more to my mind
in my daily life, since i found that website ( www.wavsite.com) and downloaded lots (and i mean really lots) of little quotations and sayings from the firefly-episodes. now everytime my pc starts (i replaced that stupid windows-starting-noise with "Oh my God! What could it be? We're all doomed! Who's flying this thing? (pause) Oh, right, that would be me. Back to work.") and with every first IM i get ("What did I say to you about barging into my shuttle?" "That it was manly and impulsive?"
"Yes, precisely, only the exact phrase I used was DON'T.") - i can't help but smiling.
and that sure is a good way of starting the day :o)

two license plates just today; TRNSEND (book?) and SHRTFUZ...I can't decide if it's Mal or Jayne or Zoe...probably Zoe :D
eating with chopsticks, either the LeAnn Chin cheapies or the stainless steel set I have at home.
and now every semi and/or dumptruck I see on the road. something about them just screams FIREFLY!! I think Archer has had a lot to do with that. just a hunch ;D

How'd you do that? I mean I think I know how, but where do I go on my comp to change that stuff around?

When I looked at the calendar. Lets face it every day is a reminder that I am one day closer to owning the entire series on DVD. Downloads are nice but lets face it. There is nothing like the original!!!!!!!!!!!

... hmmm i can try to describe, it certainly depends on your (woah ... brb, just get my dictionary :o)) ---> system software! it's really easy, kaythryn, unless i use totally wrong words which i hope i won't ;o)) i don't have an english software on my pc, but it should be something like this (at least at win98 SE, win2000 & winXP):
start - settings - system control - then something like "audio and sound" - once you're there find the tab which says "sounds" and you find a list with all the sounds your pc does. it probably starts with the windows-sounds. you can now simply replace them with the soundfile you downloaded. take over (??) and safe and you're done :o)
