The Dark Shape?

I heard people talking about a Firefly script called "The Dark Shape" on Whedonesque does anyone know if this is a real script or anything about it.

I think you misinterpreted a post by gossi on Whedonesque. He was responding to a member by the name of TheDarkShape. The unfilmed script that he was referring to was "Dead Or Alive" which you can find here:

ohh ok thanks very much.

Just read Dead or Alive, wow that was a good script would have loved to see it filmed maybe it will be in Firefly Series 2.

I actually read somewhere that it was made at the beginning of the series, and Joss didn't like it enough for it to be made into an episode or something like that. But he did use a lot of the ideas from it throughout the series. I think that the old army buddy in "Dead or Alive" is a lot like Tracy from "The Message," and maybe that's who he was based off of. So basically, I don't really think that it would have been made into a series, because it was sort of a rough draft sorta thing.
