ive been lurking on this board for some time, on and off due to a lack of internet access, and was just wondering how many posts i need to make or people i need to convert until i get a shiny browncoat of my own. Please, please, please!

If you post on the thread "Browncoat Thread", FollowMal should be able to find you to give you an offical coat. The person who started that thread began it intending to have new Browncoats introduce themselves on that thread, and veterans would welcome the newbies. There have been so many new people it is hard to track everyone down. So welcome to the crew!

RiverGirl, you did right handing TheNavigator a 'coat.... as I told him, one given with love from another Browncoat makes it an "official" 'coat. Heck, you are an "official" Browncoat the minute you watch Firefly/Serenity and know you've fallen in love.

LOL, it serves both purposes actually.

I fell in love with Mal when I saw my first episode of Firefly on SciFi. Fell flat out in love. I went online and bought the DVD's of the show that night and then I went searching for Mal and the crew and I googled Firefly and the first name that came up was this site. I clicked and I've not left since.( Well, long enough to make a living, a little, ) Of course I had to have a name, and all I could think of was following Mal, since I would into Hades.. so FollowMal it was.

If you have a great appreciation for our beloved Captain and the fellow who embodies him ( Nathan) then you've fallen among friends. There's lots of us Malaholics here. And over on the other Browncoat board there is a thread devoted exclusively to Nathan as Mal and also another one devoted exclusively to Appreciatin' Nathan. They are much fun and quite a warm community, so come join us sometime.
