I just realised something: this is what RWED would be like if we didn't have AURaptor, Hero, dreamtrove and the pirates (i.e. the people who tend to put their foot in it in one way or the other)... we'd be reduced to fixing each other's grammar and spelling.

That's a most interesting point.

We "big pictures on the wall" would have little to do, other than wait and hope for the sequel, or the next TV assault by Master Whedon.

Personally, I'd like that just fine.

Its discouraging to see somebody so angry about others having a conversation, and its outright absurd to think that you can take the politics out of people and their discussions. Our politics go hand in hand with how we view our world...how we interpret it. They don't exist in a vacuum, and if you think that Serenity and Firefly themselves are A-political, then you've missed so much of the experience somehow, and need to watch them again.

To suggest that nobody in this chat room will ever say anything new or original, serves only to excuse yourself from ever having to learn anything from what is said.
