I think the Captain's theater is a second run theater. They were showing it before the gap and after the gap. I wonder if the gap was a computer problem with getting the data to Fandango or a scheduled vacation for Christmas.

Maybe the Captain's computer got hit with an emp? Or could the theater have been closed for a Christmas Vacation? Serenity was not on imdb.com/fandango at Captain's Family Theatres A Mainplace 6 during this week. I was only checking imdb.com at that time.

This is great news: I had no idea our BDM was still playing on the big screen. Count me and at least one other person (of whom I helped achieved browncoat status) in.

Which raises an interesting point - are most the SoCal Browncoats up in the L.A.?

Here in NY and Serenity is no longer playing on the big screen...and I am going to be in OC (laguna Beach) the weekend after your Shindig and viewing!! Bumming..Would love to be there and support!

Be sure to check on this theater when you are in the area, maybe Serenity will still be showing.
It is playing every day at least until Feb. 9th. If crowds keep coming...

Most of those attending this weekend might be from LA. But there are definitely more Browncoats in the OC. In fact, the lady responsible for letting us know about the theater, and getting the movie extended, is from the area. I know there will also be a few coming from the IE.
Ask around at the screening shindig this weekend and see how many locals you can find.
