"blog" is short of web log. It is essentially a diary kept on the internet, where the writer(s) frequently post a comment about the issue of the moment. Blogs vary from the truely educational (U.S.S.Clueless) to the mundane. A lot of blogs have come out since 9-11, and is a new media for news and information, as blogs can be connnected together. If a blogger was reading something, usually he can provide a link directly to the article read.
