Shiney 777 came up with a great idea of a letter writing campain to networks (my favorite is si fi)
asking them to pick up Firefly/Serenity, Serenity Now, Serenity then, Mal's raiders whatever the series my be called
How about Serenity Postcards or somesuch
that can be made
make them into a shape of a coat - so everyone know by looking at them what its about
or some gimmick like that? an easy attention getter?
