Hello all. We just finished our first major adventure (me GMing a four person group) and I was wondering if there was anyone else out there GMing or playing?

Anyone care to share any experiences? Good? Bad?

I did one about 2 weeks ago and had a blast. Anybody in the Seattle area looking for players or a GM?

'Might have been on the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Oh, and on Friday I'm starting properly running my first game in, oh, six years or so, and it's a Serenity game. The crew of the Valcyr are an odd bunch, for sure.

And it'll start in the time-honoured fashion: with a bar brawl!!

I haven't begun yet. After me and my friends complete our current DnD campaign, we're likely moving onto a Serenity RPG.

As the most obsessive browncoat, I'll be GMing the whole thing. Which means while I'm not playing, I am studying the rules and jotting down campaign + episode ideas (all to be fleshed out later). Oh, and figuring out what I want in a character sheet... I haven't found any that're 100% what I want just yet. 90%, maybe, but not 100. KF

That appears to be a pretty much universal rule with Serenity RPG GMs, I think

Ooh, that is quite shiny! Shi shi ni for the link. I'll probably still be making my own (particularly for some more personal touches), but I like a lot of aspects of the layout of this one... Particularly the derived attributes section. KF

I'm running a group of 8 other people once a week, and so far it's been a blast. The rules can be a little wonky at times, and the book doesn't do the best job of explaining everything, but once the momentum gets going, it can be magical.

Well I live in Melbourne, Victoria in Australia and have so far managed to get two groups going on the serenity rpg. One I have handed the gm'ing over for and iwill be doing the same to the other soon.
