Serenity - Movie sequel or followup TV series What say you

Well, I would be grateful for whatever I can get: movies, comic books, novels, audio plays or anything. But in the best of all worlds, if I could choose, I too would definitly vote for a new series. It leaves more room for character development and for that comfortable family feeling on the Serenity that I have grown so overly fond of.
It is mean to start something like this and get you all hooked on it (I mean, really, I am emotionally addicted to those people...) and then take it away from you.
So pleeeeassssse! Let it go on!
But it does go on in a way, as long as we stick to it. Even if there is no new canon stuff, there is always the fan base, constantly creative. Keep flying! They can't take the sky from us!

I will watch, buy, and enjoy any and all forms of Firefly and/or Serenity. I just hope that something gets into the works SOON!
