I thought it was a wonderful sentiment to Firefly, but for those who didn't see Firefly, it was just a woman in a slinky dress. Wash finally got what he wanted after all. I'm glad Joss loves to put in the little details like that which make the movie so special.

Firefly is full of little touches like that, recurring things that are great for the fans. I love the subtle hinting at Blue Sun the whole time... Like when river slashes Jayne with the butcher knife. First time I saw that I thought it was just River being a bit crazy, then after seeing the episode I thought maybe she was just forseeing Jayne's treachery. It wasn't until I saw Ariel the second time that I noticed the logo on Jayne's shirt! Its the kind of thing I would have loved to have seen developed over the series... A kind of X-files type conspiriacy thing. Its cancellation was a gorram atrocity!
