Yeah, I use my name as my username everywhere, and I've never hid that I'm from CT. If anyone cared to get my information, it would be very easy to do so. I signed up...I don't actually expect anything from it, but why not? Could be a totally meaningless thing, or maybe someone actually is collecting information to at least look into the possibility of this. I really have no idea.

I offered the suggestion of custom-made commericals to make sure people are actually watching the ads as well - all I can remember at the moment is a suggestion for a Nissan Maxima or Infiniti R35 Skyline GTR commercial shot in firefly's in-the-moment jitter-cam style ending in SHIFT_shiny.
That is, ads riddled with various in-jokes such as a Blue-Sun logo coffee mug in a Columbian coffee ad or the Serenity's reactor core among the machinery in a NASA TV-spot. If it were feasable to custom-build the ads through selective cutting and editing of a 'master' version of the ad, it may be assumed that fans of a show would pay special attention to the ads to find all the inside-gags and the ads may even get repeat exposure as being part of a TV series' DVD compilation extras.
I figured it would help seeing as how they won't take our money or our word on whether or not the show can resume; perhaps we could convince advertiser-sponsors to make commercials fans of a particular show would actually want to see.
I took a marketing class in high school, drown me. ^^
