I assume you mean personal top 5, and not 5 best films ever. I mean, as a film lover I know that Citizen Kane and Casablanca are better movies than Highlander, but I still enjoy Highlander a lot more.

So, in no particular order, here's my top 5(ish):

The Empire Strikes Back
Highlander
Out of Sight
Aliens
Raiders of the Lost Arc
The Shawshank Redemption

Two movies came out within the last year that might eventually fall into that list, but they're still too new. I need a couple of years to process them to see how they hold up over time. These films being Serenity (natch) and Batman Begins.

1.LOTR trilogy(I consider it one movie)
2.Serenity
3.Princess Mononoke
4.Star Wars(Episodes 4-6)
5.Spaceballs(How can you not love a movie that makes fun of everything Star Wars is?)
