I should find out tomorrow morning about the job, and how much I'm getting paid too, if I have.

I'm trying to work up my enthusiasm. Sure, getting a new job this quick makes it easier - I don't have to look for more or do any more interviews - but it's change, and effort, and a new place and new people, and no doubt I'll actually have to work (and think), and it will almost certainly involve having to wear a shirt and tie every day.

The fact that's it's almost certainly much more money doesn't seem to be much consolation.

I know I'm being a little stupid - sadly, everyone has to work and get paid - but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

Gah. Stupid bugs going around. I suffered mightily at the hands (cells?) of one supplied by my sister. Punishment is due.

I'm up for shindiggery. Have we had any thoughts on the when and where's? If Carol can't come (boo! to that idea, btw) what's going to be the median point for everyone to meet at?)

Am lovingly fondling my copy of Serenity that I have just acquired. Tis shiny. Oh yes.

everyone has to work and get paid - but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

All of this about working for others always bites, in your case, bytes...but it helps that you are random, can think underwater, and have glow in the dark superpower!
