DVD sales

Okay so I work at a barnes and nobles and since tuesday we have sold 13 copies of serenity. Now yes, thise does not sound like much. But we dont sell all that many dvds. We ordered 3 originally, then 4 more when those sold the first day. Then 20 more.

So i look at the other movies that we got tuesday Must love Dogs, and Four Brothers. We have sold 1 must love dogs, and 0 four brothers. So i think Serenity is actually doing very well at our store. Especially when then i look up "Mr and Mrs smith" a movie one may consider big. and since it came out in the alst week of november we have only sold 15 copies.

So can anyone else find out any info like this from any store they work at?

I just came back from Target and they only has 1 or 2 dvds left. I worked there a few years back and know from experience that they restock every night during the holidays. All dvds received the previous night go out on the the sales floor and usually new releases come in an abundance. That means they probably sold out from Saturday to Monday which is about 30+ dvds in 1 day if you exclude x-mas day.

I work at K-mart.

Last time I workied,(Christmas eve) we were complety sold out.

We may have been since gotten more copies, I'll have to check when I go in tomorrow.
