I'd also like to see Kaylee and Jayne discover they are long lost sister and brother. There could be a running joke where the rest of the crew do double takes everytime they see never-noticed-before traits of the other in them.

The only way I'd want Jewel to get her wish for Kaylee to be pregnant, is if Sheperd Book was the father (there was more than enough off-screen time implied in Serenity for that!). Mwahahahaahahaha! *evil laugh*

I would love to see a prequel.

I'd especially love to see:
- how Zoe fell for Wash during his moustache phase.
- how the crew first starts to gel and their first illegal jobs
- Book before he became a shepherd

Well, other than just having the ruttin thing in the first place to see.....Id like to see something more about the school that River was tortured within.
Here is the way I've imagine it to play out,as I watch my shiny new DVD(all hopes and ideas subject to change upon each viewing,heheh).The crew, shipped fixed ,yet still poor needs a job, and bad.So nothings changed. But than they get a wave, visitor, a Parent of a fellow student of Rivers, who is writing a very large,quite frankly,unrefusable offer to rescue thier child.A Son perhaps,so we can see how a boy responds to the effects the schools "teachings".This would allow River to continue to play an important part in the story,rather than possibly just the role of new pilot, or mindreader.Shes an insider to the school,knows her way around.I imagine she would ultimately want to complicate the plan by freeing all the children ,rather than just rescue the one.And who knows what horrors could be revealed upon actually entering the schools walls.Now as too how the Parent knows about River and even the ship shes on,hmm....well maybe this Parent works for the Alliance in some fashion.Saw Rivers bar brawl?Worked as a local police and interviewed the survivors of Rivers fight?Recognised River from some source, and knew she was at school with thier child?Takes a ride on the ship and see River?Pickle,anyone?
Zoey, well ,she has to grow Mal dark in this one.(Mainly because I just want to watch more of Gina run with the character,Mal had his movie, now its her turn!ha)But I would like her darkness suddenly be lit by a reveal that shes pregnant with Baby Wash(Hey it could happen,she only was seriously wounded on her back in the first one.)Her being pregnant could make her own desire to rescue the children stronger and her more willing to take the risky job.
Simon, well hes gonna die, Sorry, he kissed Kaylee(and thats reason enough,Grrr*pines for Kaylee*)and well you know Joss and his apparent happy relationship rule.But,honestly, what more can Simon do,other than patch up the hurt.Rivers grown stronger mentally,not whole,but a shade better.And she can definately defend herself.And heck,than this would give us a chance to see a new side of Kaylee .But maybe Simon will survive till the third movie.
Jayne,you know, I love all the characters,dont want anymore to die, but I think it would be amazing to see Mal shoot Jayne dead.Havent seen a BDH shoot another BDH in a movie before, so it could be a shocker.Echoing back to the Ariel episode, it would be interesting to see Jayne do something greedy,although in this case his intentions are to make more money for the whole crew.But his greed gets, lets say, Simon killed.
Inara, still on the ship, yet not in Mals arms.Cant happen till number three, heheh.We still dont know why she chose the out in the boondocks Companioning for a year life.Whats she running from and whens it going to find her?
Book,dead,but might not someone be upset by this fact?(other than us fans)And personally, I hope Book is true to his word in this movie, in that hes not ever going to in any manner tell us about his Pre-Preacher life.I like the mystery.
In the background of all this, I would love to hear reports on news waves, that give us more information as to how the 'verse has reacted and continues to respond to Miranda.More Riots,revolts and whatnot.Building up to movie three or otherwise known as Serenity Valley,Part Two.

All I want to see in a Serenity 2 is how the crew and the verse deals with all the stuff that happened in Serenity 1. I don't really think it should be about River or the program she was in. She had her movie. Theres plenty of other stuff from the series and the movie that can be resolved or expanded upon ;).

I also want to see an oriental character, preferably someone to fill Wash's crucial roll as "the funny one".

I'd like to see...

*The Independance rise again, especially after the exposure of the Alliance thanks to Mal and crew. I wouldn't want to see another Civil War get wrapped up in two hours, but I think this could be a good back-drop for the final two movies, or a return of the series.

*Some back-story on Book, be it flashbacks or repurcussions of Book's actions while he was alive...he's too cool of a character to forget.

*Much more of River going barefoot. (hey, the ladies want Jayne shirtless, so this isn't an unreasonable request )

I've got a ton of things I'd like to see, but these three top the list. I just want a sequel...I wouldn't be heart-broken if none of my ideas/wishes come to fruition as long as there's a sequel...well, except if maybe River starts wearing boots around the clock. Barefoot girls rule, and this kind of "cheesecake" we got in the movie out of her really drew me to all of this...aside from all the other great aspects of this 'verse of course.
