I love the name adelaide, but unfortunately that's my border collie's name. :) Ariel is very pretty.

ahhhh.....my oldest son's name is Calvin. Yes, he was named after the Calvin and Hobbs comic strip.
I so fought against this as it was hubby's idea. Then he was born and I took one look at him....LOL
(and yeah..the hair did that naturally, just like cartoon Calvin)

Ariel's a great name, but I just want to point out that in its original language, it was a man's name.
It means "lion" in hebrew.
