Man. I cannot believe I haven't seen this show until now. My friend loaned (He'll never get it back) me the TV series on DVD. What a great show. Question: Why in the world is this not still on? It's awesome! Great fun and great writing.

Because the f*x tv network is full of morons is why. It was more sabotaged from the off rather than cancelled. Showing Ep2 1st, playing the rest in completely the wrong order (destroying the continuity of the storyline) shifting it's time slot about every which way, advertising it as, more or less, a comedy it would seem. I could go on. Get Serenity on DVD if you can't get to see it on the bigscreen.

Don't feel bad...I only became aware of it a week before Serenity opened, and now I can't get enough of it. You're not alone in being "behind the times", but like they say; "Better late than never!"

I just heard from Amazon, my DVD is on it's way,
and the graphic novel combining the three issues of the 'Serenity' comic should come out in Jan or Feb
(don't order thru TFAW, order from ANYONE ELSE!)
and of course more comics later in 2006 (I can't wait)

Oh, and a word of wisdom: don't even dream of keeping your friend's DVD set. Browncoats can get a mite tetchy about that.

Welcome! Be good and return the loaner set. Now by 2 more sets-- One to watch and one to loan out. :) Or you can do what I do, and invite friends over then tie them down and make them watch your disks with you. (I don't loan mine out-- I know I wouldn't get them back!)
The 'verse is a shiny place and Browncoats are a friendly bunch. Glad you found us!
