She's just a Christina Ricci look-a-like. Albeit, a more cultured one since all we know about her is (1) she's hawt, and (2) she's hawt. Oh I forgot to mention she is cultured and does ballet.
Her ability to act remains to be seen since she apparently doesn't talk much at cons and hasn't been onscreen much outside of FF and Serenity (both of which ~ of course ~ were top notch performances).
Summer better get her ass back into scifi. If she ends up on a doctor, lawyer, or cop show I'll hate her forever and ever. and ever.

Funny you should mention that. I've said before that I was unfortunate enough not to have known about the show when it was on and was only introduced to the 'verse when Serenity came out. I remember seeing the commercials for the movie on TV and the first thing I thought when I saw Summer Glau (not knowing it was Summer Glau mind you) was "Hmmmm, what's this new movie Christina Ricci's in?"
Not a huge fan of Ricci...some of what I've seen her in is okay. I am almost afraid to admit that I was at first turned off by the fact that I thought Ricci was in this movie, and at first I had no desire to see it. But thank goodness I paid a little closer attention the next few times the commercial came on, cuz then I realized it wasn't her. And when folk started raving about it and such is when I became more interested in it. So thank you Summer for not being Ricci, and thank you people for raving about this movie!
