Aww I think you're fun too Violetrix and we're both bad, it took my fiancee to tell me halfway through one of my "I love Jayne" speeches that maybe his big tough-guy act is just an act so no-one can get attached to him.

I'm more of a guy than he is most days

Pardon me, ladies, for this interruption back to the topic...

Ooh! Ooh! I know what I'd like to see: I'd like to see a role-playing game for the PC -- youse console guys are on your own -- similar to Lucas Arts' "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic" I & II. That's one way to actually (well, 'virtually') get aboard Serenity, do a little transport for hire, a little crime, and a little time with our favorite sp'whore (or captain, doctor, mechanic, amazon, mercenary, etc.).

I've been begging the universe for just such an occurrence for months now. I think us Browncoats'd buy a few copies of that, n'est-ce pas? It would be possible for VU Games to make some serious jack from a property their parent company holds some rights to.

And then, who knows? Maybe we could get a sequel made, on the basis of being a movie based on a successful game franchise: like Doom or Resident Evil, or Blood Rayne, or...

(Massively Multiplayer Online) Role Playingly,

zoid

P.S.
VU Games is a wholly owned subsidiary of Vivendi-Universal, which also owns Universal Pictures, NBC TV and the SciFi Channel. Get my drift? VU Games produced the excellent "Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher's Bay" for the PC and consoles last year, along with other titles from various genres (nice racers), so they could definitely do the job right. Why isn't anyone at VU thinking about the windfall a Firefly-based game would produce?
