Has anyone thought about doing episodes based on Firefly using some of the scripting in the game engines out there? I was just checking out http://www.machinima.com and I thought the more creative of us out there possibly work with this medium instead. Anyhow, what do you think?

I've always thought that Firefly (and a few other lost sci-fi shows) would be good subject matter for machinima episodes. With the current level of desktop technology, and considering what other groups have done with fan-made moves (Star Wars: Revelations, Star Trek: New Voyages, etc.), there should be more than enough creative and technical savvy to pull off some decent material... I'd love to see that unfilmed Firefly script ("Dead or Alive" by Cheryl Cain) made real.
